NewsForce wants everyone to be able to read, watch and navigate our journalism.

Our standard

We design and test against the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, level AA.

What we do

• Text alternatives for images and labels for controls
• Full keyboard navigation and a skip-to-content link
• Sufficient color contrast and resizable text
• Reduced motion for readers who ask their device for it
• Video players that can be paused and closed, and ads that can be closed

Known limitations

Some videos do not yet have captions or transcripts. Some third-party embeds may not meet our standard.
